7 Mirri, Weatherlight Duelist You Decide How Combat Is Going Mirri, Weatherlight Duelist makes it so that each opponent can only block with one creature when she attacks or only attack you with one creature when she's tapped, making it difficult for your opponent to prevent and deal damage

While this was partly because people simply assumed Dredge couldn't work without the banned cards (without Dread Return, the Bridge from Below combo doesn't work, and without the combo, traditional Dredge was off the table in Modern), it's also that the deck was simply lurking behind the scenes, waiting for the right pieces to be printed

This set sneaks in with essential baddies and mutants like Bebop & Rocksteady, Krang, the Shredder, and of course, a couple of New Yorkers in Casey Jones and April O'Neil
